We’re monitoring a good coverage of thunderstorms this afternoon. The heaviest rainfall is associated with storms located over Hale, Sumter, and Marengo Counties. Elsewhere, we’re monitoring more widely scattered downpours over central and eastern Alabama, mainly south of I-20. It’s another day with a chance of scattered showers. However, I don’t believe we will see the intense rainfall like we saw yesterday in Tuscaloosa and Anniston.
