Wednesday Severe Threat
Posted on March 9th, 2010 by James-Paul Dice
Severe weather threat still looks marginal Wednesday. But, we will have to watch the system very closely for any surprises. That was a marginal setup that created the EF2 tornado in Western Oklahoma Monday. I think this map showcases the best overlap of instability and shear. Keep in mind – this is a developing forecast so we may have to adjust several times. But, I’m pretty confident the greatest threat will be west of I-65 and after 4pm. The limiting factor will be instability with this particular system. We’ll keep you posted.
