PM Forecast Update

Expect a few scattered clouds late tonight with temperatures falling into the mid 20s.  Rain should stay out of the forecast through Monday.  We can enjoy some slightly warmer temperatures for the upcoming weekend.

The forecast next week is still a bit of a challenge.  Forecast models (Euro and Canadian) still paint a wet picture with the low tracking along the gulf coast and possibly producing some snowfall late Monday night into Tuesday morning.  It does look like temperatures will be marginal at best for a significant snowfall.  We’ll watch the system, but it appears a 40% chance of rain or snow is the best course right now based on model data.  The GFS model continues to push the low farther south and keeps the forecast dry.  However, the GFS remains in question due to its past performance with the last several Winter events.  After Tuesday, it looks like a mainly dry forecast.

Tonight: Scattered clouds late. Low 25. Winds NW 3-5/Light
Tomorrow: A few clouds. High 54. Winds NW 5-10.
