Snow…Again!?
Check out the snowfall forecast from the NAM…An inch into south Alabama!?
The raw snowfall output suggests a 1″ snow into much of Wilcox, Dallas, Autauga, and Chilton counties, with 2″ or so into Coosa.
Keep in mind, this isn’t a forecast, it’s simply raw model output.
I don’t completely buy this. I believe temperatures will likely be too warm to support much accumulation this far south. The better potential for accumulation is farther north, near the I-20 corridor. I do believe we’ll see some snow flurries Monday morning around our area.
HMMMM… That being said, I note the Canadian model (which was outstanding for our last event) has the atmosphere much colder and supports a widespread 1-2″ snow for all of our area. I will evaluate tonight’s 0z run of the models and post a full outlook and discussion here late tonight.

if the cold air is in place far enough south, is there a chance we could get ice in the montgomery area with this system?
Sheesh…not again
