Another 1-2″ of Rain – Yikes

If you’re like me – enough is enough.  I think it’s fair to say it would be great if the rain would back off a bit.  Seems these days like we’re living in Seattle South.  Get ready for another soaker by Thursday.  Today and tomorrow will be dry.  But, it’s possible we could see some showers as early as Wednesday night.  The forecast models are in a bit of disagreement on the timing of the next system.  But, it does look like most of the rain will be on Thursday with heavy rain possible through Friday morning.  Right now, I’m thinking the heaviest rainfall will be south of I-20.  In the Tennessee Valley, it’s possible we could see some snow showers late Friday into Saturday on the back side of this system.  At this point, it doesn’t look that significant in terms of Winter weather.

By the way, I may actually agree with the Groundhog this year.  It appears for at least the next month or so, temperatures will likely continue to be below normal with above normal precipitation.  While we will have an active weather pattern, I think the severe weather threats should be minimum with still a few more chances at measurable snowfall.
