This Week’s Forecast
High pressure will be the dominate force for the next few days across the Southeast. Looks like forecast models are slowing down a late week cold front. It now looks like we’ll make it through Thursday dry with the best chance of rain Friday afternoon into Saturday. There is a slight chance of some Winter precipitation in our northern most counties by Saturday morning. Let me emphasize the word slight. Right now, my opinion is the moisture will outpace the cold air. The image below is output from the GFS model for Friday evening. We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, we can expect some chilly mornings with lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
