Back to Cool and Dry

The weather pendulum has swung from sunny and mild to cloudy and chilly, humid and stormy, and finally back to sunny and seasonably cool just within the last 5 days.  Now we can expect quiet and dry weather for at least a couple more days before things change again.

With high pressure around, we should expect a good deal of sunshine through Thursday before clouds start heading back in on Friday.  Today’s gusts will give way to lighter winds starting tonight as we get closer to the center of the high.  After a cold night tonight with temperatures freezing or below, we’ll start seeing a slight warming trend through Thursday.

To no one’s surprise we have some more rain coming.  It looks like another surface low will affect us, moving east along or near the Gulf coast, bringing clouds and rain in here during the day Friday and then overnight.  This will be a chilly rain as the low center should remain south of here, but it moves away quickly to give us generally fair but cool weather for next weekend.
