After the rain and storms yesterday, it was nice to see the sunshine across our viewing area this afternoon.   One thing that did not change today were the high winds!  The highest wind gust at the Auburn airport was 31 mph today, and in Columbus, GA, we had a gust at 32.

Conditions should stay rather breezy for Tuesday as a reinforcing shot of cooler air continues its trip into Alabama and Georgia.  Temperatures should be a couple of degrees cooler for afternoon highs on Tuesday.

At this time, it looks like our next rain chance will get here late Thursday night into Friday, when we could again see a couple of inches of rain.  That’s what we expect in an El Nino pattern — only a couple of days of dry weather before our next rain chances!
