Starting out with clouds and some fog around the area this morning…we should see at least a few peeks of sun by this afternoon, most likely in west Alabama. It will be a windy day today ahead of our next system that approaches tomorrow…the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the state today as a result, with winds today from the south at 10-20 mph. There is very little doubt that it is going to rain tomorrow, but the question marks lie in the threat of severe weather. We will have enough wind energy, but the thermal energy, or instability, is a question mark, as it usually is this time of year. It will require watching closely overnight tonight and tomorrow morning, so be weather aware starting later tonight.

After our system departs tomorrow, we should see some cooler air across the area, with morning lows just below freezing to start the work week. Rain chances return for the late week.
