The drenching rains and storms have left the state as a frontal system moves through and delivers some drier air to the area tonight.  Rainfall amounts ranged anywhere from about 2-3 inches over most of the area, with some local amounts over 4 inches!

Tomorrow and Saturday will feature some very nice weather, in between storm systems, with afternoon highs both days topping out well into the 60’s  Comfortable mornings are on tap as well, with morning lows in the 40s.

Enjoy the nice weather while it’s here because there is yet another storm system on the way over the upcoming weekend

  Another shot of locally heavy rain and  thunderstorms is likely for Alabama by Saturday night into Sunday.
