Use Caution While Driving this AM

With a wet ground and temperatures dropping to around the dewpoint, we will see plenty of radiation fog early Monday morning.  This will mean visibilities less than 1/4 mile in many areas.  It would be a good idea to leave home a good 20 minutes early on the drive into work.  Rain and storms will again be in the forecast Monday.  It appears the stronger storms will remain well to our south – basically along the Gulf Coast.  While should be no tornado threat today – a few storms could become briefly strong during the afternoon/evening.  We’ll see a few more showers on Tuesday with cooler and drier weather expecct Wednesday.  In fact, high pressure should bring sunshine to the area Wednesday through Friday. Have a great week!  James-Paul Dice, Fox 6 Chief Meteorologist
