Great Holiday Weather!

It was great to see the sunshine today!  A cool front swept across the area and pushed out most of the clouds.  The cooler air with this front is lagging far behind, and it will be tonight before we start to feel the cooler air.  Overnight lows will fall to the upper 30’s.

Thanksgiving looks cool and sunny, with high temperatures hitting the middle to upper 50s.  Bundle up if you’re heading out to the Turkey Day Classic, Iron Bowl, or shopping on Friday.  Friday will feature chilly weather as well, with highs only in the lower to middle 50s.  We’ll start out Friday in the lower 30s, so a chilly start is in the cards for you early morning shoppers.

Still looks like rain and thunderstorms will return to the state by Monday or Monday afternoon and continue through Monday night, as a rather significant weather system begins to affect the area.
