Cold Weather Theme Continues
Prepare your wallet – your gas bill may be a bit higher in the coming months. There is good indication we’ll be soon be dealing with below average temperatures across the Southeast including Alabama. In yesterday’s blog, I wrote about the major chill the GFS is forecasting for around Thanksgiving and the following weekend. The GFS is still indicating a major change in temperature with most locations experiencing temperatures below freezing for morning lows. The following week – it looks like another strong front will bring temperatures below freezing for most of the Southeast. The Climate Prediction Center is also indicating a good chance of the cold weather sticking around a while. Take a look at the respective short-range and three month outlooks per the CPC.
