The Fox 6 StormWarn team has been working hard on a Fall severe weather special called Surviving the Storm.  The special will air live Monday, November 9th at 6:30pm.  The secondary Fall severe weather season has historically produced some of this regions most dangerous weather including the Tuscaloosa tornado back in December 2000.  With this being an El Nino year, we’re especially prone to a more active weather pattern.

We’ll discuss the impact of El Nino on severe weather, Fox 6 severe weather policy, how to prepare for severe weather, and we’ll also take a look back at some of the worst Fall severe weather in Alabama history.
